Faolan Lykoi

From Fáelán, Gaelic for "Little Wolf"

Faolan is a small, family-run cattery nestled in the heart of the Kettle Moraine region in southern Wisconsin.  We have a particular fondness for the quirky and unusual—and none have captured our hearts like the Lykoi. Our feline family also includes the Donskoy and the rare Transylvanian breed, creating a delightful collection of endearing weirdos.

About Us

Faolan is a labor of love, run by myself, my husband, and our two cat-crazy boys. Our kittens are hand-raised in our home with plenty of love, cuddles, and socialization. It’s not uncommon to find several kittens snuggled up with one of our boys at any given moment.

We breed with health, temperament, and structure as our guiding principles, with a personal fondness for black, blue, and pointed varieties—with or without tabby patterning. I’ve always been drawn to the black, grey, and white end of the feline color spectrum!

We also enjoy showing our cats and introducing our rare breeds to the public. Come find us at shows across the Midwest—we’d love to meet you!

Collaborative Breeding Program

Uniquely in the feline world, we work closely as a group of dedicated breeders in a combined breeding program to maximize genetic diversity and health. This cooperative approach allows us to offer a broader range of bloodlines and share a unified reservation and adoption list to help match new kitten parents with their new family member.
